Iran Prepare Astronauts Into Space

The rapid technological developments in Iran in the era of the 90s brought tangible results in recent years. This can be seen on the nuclear technology they develop into electricity. Now in addition to nuclear, Iran plans to send astronauts for the first time into space.
Head of Iranian Space Agency (ISA) said, Iran will test the bio-capsules, which are able to maintain the life of living beings in space at the upcoming launch to orbit the Earth. It will involve the launch satellite carrier rocket, Kavoshgar 5 (Explorer).
Head of the ISA, Hamid Fazeli told IRNA on Wednesday (14 / 9) that the upcoming launch domestically made satellite carrier, will bring Iran one step closer to a manned mission into space in the future.
He explained that the bio-capsule trial will provide important knowledge of the Iranian Space Agency in developing the life support systems in space.
In March, Iran successfully launched a rocket Kavoshgar 4, which is capable of carrying satellites into space and living space.
As part of a plan to develop a space program, Iran also successfully launched a satellite, Rassad (Observation) into earth orbit on June 15.
Rassad mission is to take photos of the earth surface and sent back to the station in the earth along with information telemetris.
Iran launched its first domestically produced satellite in 2009 with the name of Omid (Hope). Islamic state is one of 24 founding member countries Peaceful Use of Space Science Committee of the UN, which was founded in 1959.
Tehran says it aims to send astronauts into space in 2020.
