Indonesia Open Championship is now in East Kalimantan

East Kalimantan province this year will host the badminton world championship "Indonesia Open" by Djarum and sponsored by the East Kalimantan regional development banks, namely Bank of East Kalimantan or Bank Kaltim.
"This event is the same as a similar championship that was held in 2010, while the implementation of this year's opening will be held on 27 September," said Vice Governor of East Kalimantan (Kaltim) Farid Wadjdy in Samarinda, on Tuesday.

Until now, there are already 16 countries who made sure to follow the international badminton championship which will be centered in the city of Samarinda.
Of the 16 countries that have declared themselves, has recorded 314 athletes ready to compete at this event.
Compared with last year's title is only followed about 10 countries with 224 athletes, meaning the championship this year increased by about six countries with an additional 90 athletes.

Meanwhile, Germany and the Netherlands each sent four athletes, three Australian athletes, Canada's two athletes, two athletes Egypt. While the Philippines, Chechnya, Denmark and France each one athlete.
According to him, the growing number of countries as well as badminton athletes who take part in this international show, that the interests of countries that have the potential badminton athletes in the world is enormous.
